With the engine out and the gearbox off time to look at the clutch. I could see what was possibly a date mark 95 which would coincide when the car was restored in 1996. Since then it has covered approx. 8000 miles but i suspect 1500 miles of that was on the race track (or track days). The clutch plate still had a good mm of wear before hitting the rivets but the centre of the pressure plate was suffering from fatigue cracks – as can be seen in the photos. The thrust bearing had a couple of mm left so overall a definite 3 piece clutch change.
