The same will apply to my mgb as well ……..
I have tried several methods to bleed the clutch on the MGRV8 and also my MGB this method is by far the best, least messy and the cheapest kit involved.

I disconnect the slave cylinder so it is hanging with the bleed valve at the top to remove the air. I clamp the piston by wrapping a cable tie around the body so the piston does not get ejected. Then the bleeder with a one way valve fitted (as shown) is used to bleed out any air without letting air get in when releasing the pedal.
