Had to disconnect the clutch slave cylinder when removing the engine and having read how it can wear thought i would replace it. When i compared the one i took out to the new one i was surprised with the amount of wear – not only the overall length but the wear in the pivot hole. Altogether i reckon the old was nearly 5mm shorter than the new.
