Surprised how many wires around the gearbox – not surprised that they say most o/d problems are down to electrics. I have used a few cable ties to stop them flapping around so much causing them to fatigue break. I replaced one of them as the plastic outer had gone hard and splitting. I’ve decided not to replace the switches as apparently they can be replaced if they fail by just dropping the gearbox a couple of inches.
