Bought a works hard top off eBay and had to collect from Oxford – Cowley Classics – which is about 100 miles away. No way it would fit in the car so i took my little trailer. The MGB had it’s engine out so that was not an option.
I had some pipe insulation which was ideal to clip to the trailer sides to put the hard top on top of the trailer without the fear of any scratches. With a few strong straps the hard top was secure and we made it back home no probs.
The top needs quite a bit of tidying apart from a paint job which will be the focus of some future posts.
