Window winder screw cover

I have often wondered whether these screws were supposed to have some sort of decorative cover – the screws that hold the winder handle in position. After checking the various parts books i am pretty sure that there is no such item so whilst searching for something else on eBay came across these chrome coloured plastic screw covers. Only about £2.50 for 4 delivered.

They were not a perfect fit – i had to cut them down a bit as they were too deep and required a lump of bluetac to hold them in place.

Job done and they look pretty good.
