I’ve thought for a while where I would attach a tow rope to the front of the car – not for any long distance towing but say to be pulled out of a muddy field. This was reinforced when a classic car show I was going to attend last weekend was cancelled due to rain.
Bought a 5T towing loop from eBay for about a fiver and using various washers and bolts I had in my garage fixed it to the front cross member.
When not in use it is tucked up behind the front grill.
The only thing I would do differently if I were to do it again is get a black instead of yellow loop so it won’t show up as much behind the grill.
