The mgb engine is pretty has good access with normal bonnet opening but for some jobs it’s good a bit more access.
By releasing the bonnet stay fixings the bonnet will rise to an astonishing gaping almost vertical position. Ideal for working on the heater and removing the cylinder head.
Make sure the bonnet is well secured in this position ….or else!!
