Aerofan

One of the came up on ebay so thought would give it a try. The fan blade angle changes with engine revs, faster the revs the flatter the fan angle, reducing drag and there for less power sapped for the engine. the idea being that at higher revs are you are going faster and there fore more air coming through the grill without the need of a fan.

Removed the radiator fixings and undid to hose to get to the fan. Removed it but the bolt holes in the aerofan did not line up. It was then I realised that this was meant for the earlier metal fans not the later plastic multi-blade fans. So all back together again with original fan …… shame.
