Better Exhaust Pipe Hangers

Since buying my MGB i have always been a bit concerned how rigid (almost like solid) the exhaust pipe was fixed to the under body of the car. It has a stainless steel exhaust system using the MGB type mounting brackets but they did not seen to have any give or movement at all.

I asked an MGB owner at a show last year if i could “waggle” his exhaust pipe!! It had a lot more movement than mine which really confirmed my thoughts.

I spotted these hangers and bought two of them via eBay. They were easy to adapt and fit and give an acceptable amount of give and movement which is noticeable in less vibration when accelerating and at cruising speeds.
