An advantage of fitting the K&N filters – apart from the performance gain – is that you can remove the twin su carbs as one without disconnecting the linkages.
Leave the filter unit in place and just remove the nuts holding the carbs onto the manifold, remove carbs together and place on one side with cables connected – if a temporary removal.
