The previous owner removed the centre console which i think he did when he fitted the inertia seat belts – he possibly damaged it.
Unfortunately it left the carpet around the gaiter a rough ragged untidy looking edge so cut a piece of plastic to fit under the gaiter surround and over the carpet edge. Looks good until i can find a replacement centre console which is on my auto jumble shopping list.
