MGB Mud flaps or not?

In 2 minds whether or not to fit them. Not all that keen on large flapping mud guards. Back in the seventies i had spats on my mini which looked quite good. Decided to mount the mud flaps quite high a sort of in between position.

Used a dry marker on the flaps and body to make sure i got both sides the same.

It is important to ensure the mudguards are fitted firmly. 2 screws into the rim of the wheel arch. The front flaps required an extra screw to hold the flap in a position that did not catch the tyre whilst turning.

Rather than white MG logos i went for gold to fall in line with the cars “jubilee year status”!
