A while ago i noted that the accelerater pedal had no rubber cover on it a while ago – i reckon most MGBs don’t have this but it appears in the MGOC spares / parts catalogue. So while ordering some other parts i added this to the order to save on postage.
Not really a big job to fit the only prep was to put the cover in a cup of boiled water to make it really soft making it quite easy to pull over the pedal.
I guess the benefit of the rubber cover is better grip if the soles on your shoes are wet – although during the 2 years I’ve had the car that has not been a problem.
