Whilst sorting my garage recently i came across this gadget. I reckon it came from my grandad’s garage must be about 40 years ago.
Its a cylindrical shape with a magnetic base which is ideal for attaching to the MG dash. It has chrome plated plastic end caps that pull off. There looks like some sort of heater element inside it so i guess it’s an early type of scent thing for a car. I’ve not plugged it in to the lighter socket yet and i don’t think i will – but it looks very “period” and certainly matches in well with the MGB dash.
